Our story

Koalitix was founded by a team of three, who came together while working together at a fast-growing software company. The experience of being part of that team, building an entirely new software category, is the foundation of what Koalitix is today.

With a shared passion for strategy, data, and technology, they formed a close-knit team who have now joined forces to help other teams solve struggles that they’ve experienced before.

Tim Kuijper
Co-founder
Tim loves to build and innovate. Starting his first business at a young age, he's an entrepreneur at heart. His strength lies in creating structure in chaotic situations and finding creative solutions in challenging environments. Tim values having fun at work, equality and letting the best idea win.
Mark Mellink
Co-founder
Mark is an expert when it comes to helping businesses to get insights from data. He has led large teams of analysts and is a true partner to business leaders by helping them use data to take action. He also has a knack for breaking down complicated concepts into simple analogies to help people understand them.
Sascha Oosterbaan
Co-founder
Sascha fell in love with tech early in his career. He soon discovered the power of combining programming, analytics and design to solve complex problems. He's able to approach topics from both a business and technical perspective, effectively bridging the gap between business and IT.
Meltem Oktay
Consultancy Practice Lead
With a background in sales and tech, Meltem brings both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to her role as Consultancy Practice Lead. Passionate about data and AI, she helps clients build scalable infrastructure and intuitive solutions that turn data into confident decision-making.
Joaquin Rodriguez Lamas
Head of product
With over a decade in revenue and product operations, Joaquin has helped scale SaaS companies past $100M and led global teams through major acquisitions. Blending strategy with hands-on AI/ML experience, he loves turning complex challenges into products and processes that drive real impact.
Jonathan Toole-Charignon
Data engineer
Raised between three different countries and fluent in as many languages, Jonathan is a multicultural asset to our team. With a foundation in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Computing Science, he excels in deciphering complex data and crafting insightful solutions. At Koalitix, Jonathan navigates intricate data challenges, using his expertise to develop smart data solutions.
Manon Quaak
Senior data consultant
Manon began her academic journey in Economics and Law but found her true passion in data analytics, where she excels at finding creative solutions for complex problems. Whether it's conquering new CrossFit challenges or showing outstanding performances at the karaoke bar, Manon thrives on new experiences. At Koalitix, she merges her analytical and problem-solving skills with her love for trying new things to craft innovative data solutions.
Prateek Vemulapalli
Data engineer
Prateek is an Indian-born but UK-raised Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft. He discovered his passion for data as he investigated how good data combined with engineering could improve aviation safety and efficiency. Outside of work, you can find Prateek watching cricket or practicing his poker face at the poker table. As a data engineer at Koalitix, Prateek will be ensuring businesses have reliable access to their data so that they can get the most out of it.
Vardan Narula
AI & Data Engineer
Vardan started out building data pipelines and dashboards, but these days his focus is on applying AI in practical ways. Whether it's creating systems that can understand and evaluate customer conversations or helping teams turn raw data into clear insights, he loves solving complex problems with simple, scalable solutions.
Thijs Wassing
Data Consultant
Thijs combines a strong foundation in science with growing skills in programming and engineering. As a Data Consultant, he's eager to apply her analytical mindset to real-world challenges and develop scalable solutions that bridge science, technology, and data.
Roald Kruit
Advisor
Roald was a co-founder of Mendix, which grew out to become the leading low-code platform in the world. In 2018, Mendix was acquired by Siemens for € 628 million. Roald's experience of scaling a company from the ground up, makes him the perfect advisor for Koalitix.
